Does Bethnal Green run the Divisional Powerlifting Championships?

No.

BGWLC often hosts the divisional competitions because we have a large, centrally located facility and many of our members also compete. However, the competitions themselves are organised and run by the Greater London Division of British Powerlifting.

Will I get early entry to Powerlifting competitions if I join Bethnal Green?

The Greater London division operates an early entry scheme for divisional competitions. The member clubs are given early entry privileges because they provide the volunteers who run the competitions.

The clubs are limited in the number of places which they may take and early entry for club lifters is not an automatic process – you have to be nominated by the club secretary.

At BGWLC, our policy is to use early entry places for members who train with us regularly and who support the club.
